The gas guys did indeed come back today. It turned out they didn’t have all the information on Friday, so they actually changed where they were digging so it was between the house and the pool rather than between the pool and fence. This was because otherwise it would go under the hot tub, which was not ok.
Despite the change, they got done in a few hours and our piped gas for the grill and the pool heater are ready.
