In the afternoon, we headed into Dover, their capital. Like many older US cities we have been to, they had an old one, as well as the current one:
Next we headed down the coast to Lewes. There is also a Lewes, UK, which was a 10 minute train ride from where we used to live. Lewes had one thing we had really been missing that we quite liked – the beach :
A beach is not an absolute deal breaker for where we will live, but it would be appreciated.
