As our regular readers will know, we have taken up grilling quite extensively. We have grilled most days since the new pool area opened back up (that video really will come out some day, but due to technical difficulties, not quite yet). We have even come up with a reasonable grillable breakfast: bacon sandwiches.
Chris was beginning to think the British classic was closed off to him as American bacon is a totally different, much fattier cut of meat that is ill suited to being made into a sandwich on its own. Whole Foods do something they call “Irish back bacon”, which is very similar to the sort of bacon sold in Britain and Ireland.
