\"2016-01-01<\/a>Due to the immense amount of socializing we did in Brighton<\/a>, we were quite happy to stay in on New Year’s Eve. I also must admit, we don’t have much of a record of going out on New Year’s Eve as the last several years we visited Wisconsin and were usually recovering from the jet lag. If anything, it was nice to not be jet lagged on 31 December for the first time in a long time as we did very successfully and fully get on UK time this trip.<\/p>\n

We had a very pleasant evening in with Chris’s parents and the bottle of French fizz from his aunt. We watched a bit of Sherlock (the BBC one) to get Chris’s parents up to date before the New Year’s Day Special and called various relatives.<\/p>\n
