To make better time, we had to give a few things a miss that we would have normally done, like going to NASA, but I am sure we will be back to Florida even if we don’t move here, so we will go later. Here are some shots from Florida’s “Space Coast”:\u00a0 \"2015-08-18<\/a><\/p>\n

Next we headed into the beginning of the absolutely huge Miami-Fort Lauderdale<\/a>\u00a0area. We had a look at West Palm Beach, which wasn’t very nice, and then Palm Beach<\/a>, which was lovely.<\/p>\n

We stayed in a small suburb near West Palm Beach<\/a> called Lantana<\/a>. There were all these lovely little things that I think might be geckos. Once again, if you are more knowledgeable of nature than\u00a0we are, do let us know:<\/p>\n

\"2015-08-18<\/a> The area itself was quite nice:\"2015-08-18<\/a> The hotel, on the other hand, was a bit weird really. It had an ancient 600 watt microwave, so dinner prep was a challenge. It was generally a bit of a dump. Despite the cool name (The Barefoot Mailman Motel), we cannot recommend it.<\/p>\n
