We saw a sign for some peach cider (American meaning of cider, so non-alcoholic). We took a wrong turn and ended up seeing the biggest spiders either of us had ever seen at this location:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-17.08.011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1475\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-17.08.011-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"2015-08-14 17.08.01\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-17.08.011-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-17.08.011-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A lot of the country side also started to look like this, which was nice for a change:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-16.58.59.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1472\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-16.58.59-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"2015-08-14 16.58.59\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-16.58.59-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hijenx.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-14-16.58.59-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We were informed by locals not to get too close though as there are alligators out there, and no, you cannot outrun them apparently.<\/p>\n<p>We did eventually find the peach cider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=web&amp;cd=1&amp;cad=rja&amp;uact=8&amp;ved=0CB8QFjAAahUKEwihyfWo1K7HAhWJWh4KHcQVDrA&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fcarolinaciderco.com%2F&amp;ei=pw_RVeHZHYm1ecSruIAL&amp;usg=AFQjCNFVUkvBUZZotrX2ItwBZw-QK5P_Ig&amp;sig2=cKGTn3t5zAcbu9MsUFqH3Q\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> by the way, and it was truly fantastic. We also got some cakes and pastries there that were absolutely divine. I am sure if I waded through Google I could find out, but we are busy \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately this hotel experience in Beaufort was also quite positive. It had the best pool of the trip in that it was outdoor and 8 feet deep\u00a0(most were about 5). I found out I can still do an aquatic back flip, which is good to know I suppose. By the way, it&#8217;s probably not pronounced how most British people would guess.
